Cosmetic Tattooing Policy

The Service

Each client heals and retains pigment differently and exact healed results cannot be guaranteed. As with tattooing of any kind, the results are dependent on proper aftercare and other variables that cannot be controlled. Each new cosmetic tattoo procedure (with the exception of corrective work and freckles/beauty marks) includes a touch-up session at 8-12 weeks as a follow up to the initial procedure to top-up or fine-tune work from the first session. The initial follow-up session is not intended to e used to change the overall shape or color of initial treatment. Any additional visits or touch-ups scheduled after 8-12 weeks from date of the initial service will be charged as a refresh session. No refunds will be issued after any procedure has been performed. Before and after photos are required by law and we reserve the right to use photos for print or digital marketing. If you do not wish to have you photos shared, please notify us during your appointment.

Previous Cosmetic Tattooing or Microblading

Previous cosmetic tattooing done elsewhere must be disclosed before booking. A consultation is REQUIRED before booking an appointment to work over old permanent makeup. Not all previous work can be corrected or covered. It is at the artist's discretion to decide if the previous tattooing is able to be re-worked. Our artists have the right to refuse work on preexisting permanent makeup cases. Those who schedule an appointment to work over old cosmetic tattooing risk losing their booking fee in the case the artist decides the old tattoo/microblading cannot be covered successfully. We do not compromise when it comes to corrective work. Unless we can give a better result that will uphold our standards, we will not take on the project. We cannot guarantee results for corrective or cover-up work and removal may be recommended before working on an area that has been previously tattooed or microbladed. Corrective/cover-up work may require extra sessions and will be charged accordingly. Removal services are not currently offered at Blink Tattoo & Esthetics.

Booking Fee

A non-refundable booking fee of $100 will be taken to secure your appointment and will go toward the cost of the procedure. All deposits are valid for six months and are non-refundable for any reason. The remaining balance of the procedure is due at the time of the initial procedure. In the event that no deposit is made in advance, the full price of the procedure will be taken at a the beginning of the appointment. This booking fee may be forfeited in the case the appointment needs to be rescheduled or cancelled due to lack of following pre-care or policy.

During the procedure

Only the client being tattooed will be allowed in the procedure area unless prior arrangements have been made. No minors are allowed in the studio and will be asked to wait elsewhere. Due to the delicate nature and precision required for permanent makeup, it is imperative that distractions are kept to a minimum. Please leave cell phone on silent and refrain from texting or calls. If you would like to take a photo during the procedure, please ask. Food and beverages are not allowed in the procedure area but can be left on the counter in the lobby area.

Artist’s work

It is very important to me to give you the best results possible. I will be open and honest about every aspect of the cosmetic tattoo procedure including color, style, shape and health of your skin. It is important that you understand the procedure and if I believe any part of the service is not right for you or your skin we will openly discuss the reasons and agree upon other potential options before starting your service. As an artist I reserve the right to refuse work thats not in alignment with my professional style.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

Please arrive on time. Showing up even a few minutes late could result in the loss of your appointment as this will delay the schedule and affect later appointments. Please give at least 72 hours advance notice if rescheduling is required. Failure to give appropriate time to reschedule may result in loss of booking fee and/or an additional $50 rescheduling fee will be applied to schedule the next appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late or, if you no-show for your appointment, the deposit may be forfeited and rescheduling fee of $50 will be applied to reschedule for another date.
